UPDATES AS OF MAY18,2012

So much has happened here since I last blogged. Most recent is my step grand daughter Kylie turns 13 today, my grandson Chris in AZ turned 18 yesterday. Last Sunday was Mothers day and while I heard from my kids with Richie calling first. I heard from all but Thomas, but I didn't believe I would hear from him. Glen JR and his wife got me a beautiful flower, Glen gave me a card and a rose from my own bush but it was perfect. And Sandy gave me a beautiful plaque and a balloon. It is getting tight here financially. Not many jobs coming in. Glen has lost so many good clients due to Paul forgetting the small things. Plus he leaves tools at job sites and guess what we have to replace them because some people don't give them back. Then there is all the overhead, the Insurance's and the License's and materials are up. People are not wanting to spend. Hannah and her husband are trying to work things out. I hope they do. I only want the best for both of them. Let's just say I have alot to do over the nest few months. Until the next update, Have a blessed day.

UPDATES

Since February 2012 I have been busy. I went to visit my family in CA and got to see tne newest grands. Clara Jo Bither born in Dec of 1211 and Julian Nesta Vega born in Feb 2012. Both babies are doing great. There rest of the grands have all gotten so big. Emma, Ali, Drisana, Ellie and Merle have all grown so very much. And Baby Jocelyn is so beautiful, She looks at times like her Sister Ashanti and she is cutier then cute. Little Emma started Teeball and Ali is in soccor. OF course I felt slighted as Jen never spends more then token time with me as did the rest. Jen stayed at Hannahs and I felt slighted there but on the other hand Tucker finally invited me to his home and even asked me to stay the night which I should have done but as it was my first night there I didn't want to hurt Richie and Danielle but resulted in hurting Tucker. But Tucker has such a sweet family and Drisana is so sweet. I met Hannahs husband and I thought he was nice only to find out he has been cheating on her with another woman for most of their married life. And her just having given birth to their son. Sounds similar to Mary's situation. ANd of course I did not get to see Mary as she just strated a new job and couldn't leave work. Her lose there. I missed her. But over all it was nice tospend time with Rich, I just felt I was underfoot more then I was a help. Love the Grands, but I have gotten used to my quiet life here. Well I will keep all updated until next time God bless.

THIS BLOG

When I started this blog I wanted to inspire and hopefully lead family members back to Christ. To tell of the sweetness of life that only knowing God offers. But it didn't continue to be that way.
Today I was reading my Friends blog and she talked about Leviticus the book of the law and about the offerings made to God by his people through the High Priest. She talked about the Burnt offering (blood), the Grain offering and the Peace offering and as I read I saw my life. One that for years I thought dedicated to God but now know it was just a passage if time. I know that I have a very long way to go to get to where I really want to be. (I truly do love my Heavenly Father and I do want my life to reflect him.)
God is an awesome father, friend and most of a patient God waiting for us (me)to see what we (I) need to see in order to live our (my life)lives for him.
Today is Sunday a day that should see me in Church serving him and leading others to him, guiding but here I am at home after a late night watching TV and reading.
I really miss being in church, singing his praises and learning but fears since moving back to Ohio has kept me bound. I want to loose those fears and truly get back to worshipping God. But for that I need a church home. But where do I go. If I choose another church other then the one we have been attending which is my mother-in-laws home church I could end up hurting her and she is a really sweet lady and I care for her very much but I don't feel lead to make that my home church I feel like an outsider and besides that it is a long drive to get there and I don't like driving all that much especially in the snow. I have some very big decisions to make here and quickly as I really need to be back serving God and not just doing lip service so if any of you read this please keep me in prayer. But one thing is a sure given I do want my life to reflect God to all who see it.

ARE YOU ALONE

Man people seem to be a part of a big "happy" family. They have children, spouse and some even have parents still living and most have a sibling or two to pester them now and then. But even with all that there are some out there that are "alone". They have loved ones but do those loved ones really know them. Do they embrass them and let them know they are loved and cared for. OR are they alone. Do they make them feel a part of the family or do they go about their business as usual. I remember the words to the song "CATS AND THE CRADLE AND THE SILVER SPOON" that basically starts out with the child asking the father to spend time with him and the father says "We'll get together then son" and later as the years have gone the father asks the son the same question, and the son replies "we'll get together then dad." But that time never comes and before you know it that loved one is gone. They had a family but they were alone, either because they didn't let the family in or because they were busy or distance kept them apart. Sometimes in seconds families the children don't like the parents new spouse or they resent the love that that "Step " Parent has to offer because they feel there parent is the only ones that can love them. But really that's not true. A child can have stepparents love like or even better then the real parent. But what I am saying is that look at your family. Do you see one that is in the midst of the family by really is n ot there but on the outside looking in wanting to be a part but not being accepted for who they are or what they can offer.

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

The "Dog Days of Summer", that's August, it's the time of year when the heat of the day makes you want to lie down somewhere cool and sleep the day away. But we can't there is to much to do? Its been a month since I last blogged. And What I have blogged about is pretty much nothing. Since July my newly married daughter Hannah and her new Hubby Julian they are expecting a boy??? Now that Danielle is pregnant again with number four someone had to get pregnant besides her. That's the way it's been. One of these days Danielle will have a pregnancy all by herself. :) Danielle and Richie are expecting another girl. Clara will be her name. The economy is in the dumps once again. Congress wants more money and the people are tired of all the BS we get form the government. We want less hype and more work. Leave the middle class alone and hit the billionaires for some aid. The middle class supports the poor and then some. But like I said its the "Dog Days of Summer and the heat gets us rallied up. Lets hope we have a better month is September.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY 2011

We celebrated the birth of our nation once again this year in 2011. I am proud to be an American. I thank all the members both past present and future for securing our Nation and keeping us safe. This year we had the barbecue here at our house as Mom and ray were invited to Aunt Naomi's in Zanesville. We had a wonderful time eating talking and sharing with each other. Glen Jr and his wife were the 1st here but then they live above us. My brother Rick showed up next followed by Jimmy Lee and then Sandy and her family. We ate to much and talked to much but we had a wonderful time being together. After it was done and Mom and Ray were home, we went up to their house and played cards.
It was a blessed day.

YESTERDAY, TODAY TOMORROW

Yesterday seems so very far away Oh I believe in yesterday.... By the Beatles, How many of us hold onto the memories of yesterday and don't see today? I have so wanted my life to be different from what I have had. But unless we reach for what we want, life passes you by. Yesterday was just here but today it is gone. Today is here and tomorrow is not promised to us yet we live for tomorrow and forget today. Why? Today is here and it is beautiful and full of so many things both wonderful and sad. Today I have a husband who loves and trust me, who believes in me. Today I have children who are healthy and prosperous. Today I have life in abundance. Today I have the father in heaven watching out for me and my family, he provides and protects and he loves me. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Today I give this day back to the father who gave it to me so that he may use me to his glory. Today I am his child and I thank him for the gift of today. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come so today I rejoice and say Thank you.
