That was the topic for the last few weeks of church services. Our Pastor has asked us to contribute our art work. And I did a picture and a poem which you will read at the end here But I got to thinking about Who I think God is. He is Alpha and Omega, He's the Good Shepard. The all seeing eye. He's the Savior. But who do I think that he is. He's my father. He's my king. He's my physician. My counselor. But he's more much more then that. Who is he to me. In years past he was the husband I needed when mine was to drunk to care or to judgemental. He was my friend when I had no one to talk to. God over the years has been many things to me so there is really no one thing that he is. He's God. It's that simple. It's that easy. But that in and of itself makes him so much more. Who Do you say that I am. I say you are God. You are Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end and there is no other on in or under this earth whereby men can live.
WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?
Who do you say that I am?
I call you God.
Who do you say that I am?
I call you Father.
Who do you say that I am?
I call you my friend.
You are the Alpha and Omega
The beginning and the end
The All seeing master
The Shepherd and the King.
You are the one I turn to
When life is full of joy
You are the one I turn to
When Life is full of pain.
You are the one I turn to.
When I am sad and lost.
You give me strength to meet each day.
You full fill my every need.
Who do you say that I am?
You are Christ the Risen King.
You are the Savior hoped for.
The Shepherd that leads the flock.
You are the great physician.
You are the one we need.
Who do you say that I am.
I call you Christ the Son of God.
