INSPIRATION

Inspiration, What give you inspiration? I get inspiration from many things in life. Last night I got inspiration from the lighting outside. Mind you I hate thunder storms of any type mainly because during terrible storm the transformer outside my bedroom window almost always got struck. But last night it inspired me to compose a poem, No I won't share it here but I thought of how many different colors you can see in a bolt of lighting. there's the blinding white flash, but if you look closely you can see red, orange, yellow and even blue. And yes you can even see black as a result of a strike. But where do you get your inspiration from. I get it from friends that say something that sticks, or I'll see a bird fly by. Now if only I could paint pictures of what inspires me. But all I can do is compose silly rhythms or poems. I've been told they aren't more the greeting card poems but I'd like to think they are more then that but hey that's me. Now the true artist in the family is Thomas, my oldest son, and the poet is Mary. She can go really deep in her thoughts. So I ask you again what inspires you?
