I was not able to sleep the other night and so I got up to watch some TV, but nothing was on so I picked up my Bible. I randomly opened it to Psalm 148. Many times when we read a chapter we stop at the break where another chapter begins thinking that's it. Chapter done but sometimes it pays to read on. Chapter 148 starts out "Praise The Lord!" but it goes on to say we are to Praise from the heavens, that the angels are to Praise him and on and on.... We are to Praise the Lord. But do we just Praise him in the good times? I don't think so I think we need to Praise him in everything in every way. Praise him in the down times and in the sad times as well. But how? By just doing it. Many ask me how can you Praise God for taking your Granddaughter, because God did not take my granddaughter. Two selfish disobedient drunks took her. Selfish in that they only thought of their pleasure that day and disobedient because they chose to disobey the law and drove under the influence of alcohol. God rescued my Granddaughter that day and took her home to be with him. God did what any loving parent would do. He saw his child hurt and disoriented and he took her in his arms and took her home to rest in him. So yes Praise God in all things for he says if we don't then the rocks and trees will.
