Best Friends
Best Friends, Someone you are close to and can share your hopes, fears and dreams. Many of us have many close friends over the years, we have our childhood best friends, teenage best friends and adult best friends and family best friends and on and on. Best friends let you scream til you are hoarse in the throat because your Mom or dad didn't understand how important that school dance was, They hold you when you've lost a loved one and stand with you during tough times. I've had several best friends. But my most favorite best friend was there from childhood through my teens. I met my first best friend in 2nd grade at Hazelwood Elementary School. Our teacher then was Mrs Colbertson. We'd been in school for a few weeks when Cindy McWhorter walked in and was introduced to our class. We were Best friends from then on. Oh we had our troubles. I was jealous of her because she was so much prettier then I, she was more outgoing, where I was very shy, and passible plain. All the boys at Lincoln Jr High had crushes on her. I was just the wallflower. But she never let me know it and she never let me hide. After graduation we lost touch, she married Donnie Morris and I moved to California. But about 6 months ago after searching the internet I found her. And she still has that same bubbly personality. So here's to all our best friends and to the ones we remember the Best. Thanks for all you did for us through out those hard teenage years...
