Birthdays

This weekend we celebrated Glen's Mom's birthday. She turned 76 and she is still going strong. Nothing keeps this lady down. It was a wonderful time of sitting, eating luinch and catching up. Glen's sister Tammy wants an addition put on her house and her and Glen spent several hours talking over costs and material for the project. Then we had a wonderful Oreo Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Cake for dessert.
After everything settled down the four of us, (Mom, her husband Ray, Glen & I) played cards. It was couple against couple and they won. But hey, you can't win them all. I heard from my daughter Hannah and little Ali asked to speak to Gramma. She is so sweet and her voice makes me smile. I can hardly wait till Drisana and Emma and Elly can talk to me. It's neat when your Grandkids call you. Makes me feel young again. Our life is good, with many blessing and even hardtimes are blessings because it shows us how much we do have.
