MY TURN TO RANT

It's my turn to rant here. I went shopping for groceries Saturday. And I must tell you that I see this all the time in grocery stores. Mom, Dad and kids are shopping going Thur the produce area and child starts screaming "I'm hungry." So parent reaches out grabs an apple, banana or some fruit and hands it to the child to keep him quiet. WRONG! Who pays for that? We do in the end with higher prices. But here's what I'm ranting about. Mom's on a cell phone at the check out and child is running around at her feet. Said child grabs candy opens it and starts eating it. Mom goes to leave and grabs what the child is eating closes it up and puts it back in the bin where some unsuspecting person goes to buy it for their child. STOP! WRONG! If your child had his mouth on it, you buy it, and I told the mom this. I even offered to pay for it if she was short. She just looked at me and walked away. Why! You are responsible for your toddler! If you take your child shopping with you then you need to watch it. Make it behave. To many time when we are shopping we see parent letting their children run the store while they shop leaving store clerks to watch the little buggers. Hey parents wake up. Store clerks are for checking you out for keeping the shelves stocked or the floors clean while you shop. They are not your personal babysitters and this consumer here is tired of paying for your irresponsibility's. If you feed your child prior to shopping then they won't want produce you didn't pay for and if you watch your child while shopping then they won't open candy they haven't asked for and again you haven't paid for. End result lower food prices overall. AM I wrong here? IS this being irresponsible? Shouldn't wwe watch our children while out among strangers?

  1. you know common sense would tell us that we should watch our own children. However in todays society irresponsibility seems to reign supreme over common sense
