IT'S SNOWING AGAIN

As you can see from the pictures on the side here that we had a pretty good snow. The deepth of the snow was taken after the first snow on Feb 5th, and before the second snow a week later. That was at 14 inches then. But it's snowing again. We had a few days to thaw out a bit as you can see from the icicles on the side of the house. Those are some big icicles at 18 feet in lenght. And we have another snow storm just starting where we are supposed to get from 3" to 9" of snow. I'm hoping for the latter as we are less then a block from the river and while we are at the area of the river that hasn't flooded in a while there is always that one chance. This is the deepest snow here in quite a few years. In 1959 I believe we had a flood here that is to this day marked by an Indian Totem pole that marked the height where the river crested. My Grandmother was rescued from that flood back then and I remember my mom giong over and helping her clean up afterwards. And all this snow scares me in that respect. But I trust that God will protect as he is the Almighty and we are in his hands always. But once again it is snowing. It's beautiful to look at "pristine white", and fun to play in if you can stand the cold. But deadly when not respected.
