HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNIFER

Today December 22, 2010 in my daughter Jennifer's' birthday. How old is she? I'll never tell you outright but she was born in 1975. She was my first daughter and she is everything and more in a daughter that a mother could want. She is a Strong woman. Full of life, determined to overcome life's obstacles. She had her first child at age 15. And we cried together when we got the news. She because she was scared as a very young unwed mom and me for lost dreams. At the time I thought they were lost. But she never lost sight of her dreams. When she had her daughter I thought life can't get any tougher then this. She was in 8th. grade but because of her grade average they bumped her up and sent her to an alternative school. Chula Vista Jr High didn't want her giving other girls ideas. But she fooled them all. She got her GED and then went on to college. She worked full time while going to school and she got her BA. But she 's had her rough times too. In 2007 She lost her precious Firstborn Felicia to a drunk driver, and when many would crumble under the loss she got stronger. She worked hard and when the trial came up she attended, making up lost time at work by staying longer at night and by working on Saturdays or using vacations and sick days to be there. When they let the person responsible off she didn't break down, she spoke up. She works hard at letting people know that its wrong to drink and drive. She works with MADD. she talks to her other kids and is there for them. Today December 22, 2010 is my wonderful daughters birthday. Happy Birthday Jen. She also shares the day with good friends as it's their 34th. wedding anniversary. Happy Anniversary Steve and Debi. God Bless you both.
