AN EARLY MEMORIAL DAY FOR US
We had an early "Memorial Day" here in Ohio. We all gathered at Mom and Ray's and had a wonderful day. We got there at 1:30 and started setting out the necessary items and got down to grilling. Ray's son Art did the most but paid for it as med's he's on makes him a little sick with the heat. Glen's boys and their wives and kids were there and Art's wife and foster son were there. We had good food and quiet conversation for all of five minutes. The boys, (Jimmy's and Gin's) were full of energy and played a toss game. They ate really well. After all had eaten Art had to leave early because of the heat and the new med's did not mix well, and then the rest left. Glen and I stayed and played cards with Mom and Ray and now we are home. All in all it was a good but tiring day. But it's a day we would not have if it weren't for the men and women how gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy so much. So to all who serve this great nation Thank you. And May God Bless and keep you and yours.
