I AM SO TIRED

It's been a long day today. But for the most part I've been hiding here in the house. It is hot outside and muggy. We had a bad thunderstorm early this morning. I woke to the sound of the Angels marching in heaven. Or as my mother used to say, Grandpa spilled his tater wagon. But it is not a sound I like. Especially when it sounds like it is right in our room. But Glen just rolled over and put his arms around me and said, It's OK honey I've got you. And I was content. The storm faded away and the nest I knew it was 7:00 and the alarm was going off. So I did not get the rest I needed but I did get the comfort I needed. So I can cope.
